Recent Web work

I just completed an interesting project with Montana Boatbuilders that involved remodelling all all Web pages while keeping their original design intact. I created new main and footer menus, tabbed panels for boat information, and, using Flash and Slideshow Pro Director, new and dynamic slide shows of their beautiful custom boats, kits and plans. This made the site more accessible, offered enhanced views of the boats, and enables the client to create or modify their own slide shows live on the server.

With the Payden Memorial Foundation's Web site done, it was time to configure DoJiggy.com's online reservation system to allow Blazing Saddles VII riders to register online and set up personal pledge pages. Blazing Saddles (7/19/08) is the PMF's annual bicycling fund raiser for families and individuals living with kids who have cancer. I believe in this organization and recently joined the PMF Board.

I also am a two-time Blazing Saddles rider, and will ride again this year (before ride day, for which I am a volunteer). If you'd like to pledge my ride, click here.

Another new project: a Web site for NAMI-Livingston, the Livingston chapter of Montana NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). The site has news updates, information, resources, event/workshop/class listings, and anonymous blogs for mental health consumers and their families. The site also has resources for Mental Health providers.

Sparkling Dawg Design provides Web graphics, Web site design from scratch or from templates, blog installation/setup and theme modifications, content development, image preparation for Web galleries and slideshows, search engine optimization, and hosting, as well as training for those who want to manage their own sites or blogs. Sparkling Dawg Design received the Livingston Weekly/KPRK Radio Best of Livingston 2007 in the Web Services category.
